He has been impressing in Spain this season, with seven goals and five assists registered during a loan spell at Gefafe, and the likes of Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are said to be shooting admiring glances in Greenwood’s direction. There appears to be little future for him in England.
WHAT GROENVELD SAID ABOUT GREENWOOD
Putting a high-profile transfer in place will require plenty of work from those off the field, with Dutch agent Menno Groenveld making Greenwood aware that he would be willing to step in and aid that cause. Groenveld has told : “That’s a player that suits my agency, I think. I think he is a top player, although you cannot sit back with him. You have to get to work. Of course, a lot has happened but, with a player like that, you can still make a difference. Then my input is also worth something.”

Groenveld mainly works with players in the Netherlands, or from that part of the world. Greenwood would become the biggest name on his books were an agreement to be reached, but there is no indication for now that the one-cap England international is looking for new representation.
