Reynolds and McElhenney are, however, going to have to dig even deeper in 2024 if Wrexham are to remain competitive in the third tier of English football. There are some big calls fast approaching, with another productive domestic campaign coming to a close.
WHAT PARKINSON SAID
Parkinson is planning on taking a rare break from the drama at SToK Racecourse before looking to reshape his squad, but concedes that movement in and out is to be expected over the coming weeks. Parkinson has said: “At the end of the season, everybody is ready for a break and we will take that. It's going to be a busy summer but there's nothing better going into the summer with all the hard work being rewarded with a promotion. We will reflect on that and enjoy that feeling because it's really important. There's only so many teams every season that end up with success. We are one of them and we are going to enjoy that feeling but equally, there's a lot of hard work to be done.”
